Public Health Emergency Rule updates

Public Health Emergency Rule updated effective November 12, 2021 include:
 
  • Rule #5 - Beginning November 8, 2021 proof of full vaccination now includes FDA approved and authorized vaccines, as well as vaccines that have an Emergency Use Listing (EUL) from the World Health Organization.
  • Condominium and other similar associations meetings can now have in-person meetings.
  • Bars and restaurants may operate at normal indoor capacity provided they ensure all customers are either fully vaccinated, have a negative COVID-19 test, or post-COVID-19 infection verification.
  • Bars and restaurants may operate at normal business hours.
  • Commercial event operators, including weddings and luau larger than 50 persons whether held indoors or outdoors, shall notify and consult with the Mayor's Office and obtain approval prior to the event.
  • Commercial event operators must comply with Rule #5 related to proof of vaccination or testing of patrons and employees.
  • Table seating - no more than 10 persons per table indoors, and no more than 25 persons per table outdoors.
  • Commercial recreational boating may operate at normal capacity and shall implement protocols to ensure that households/living units and groups maintain proper social distancing of at least 6 feet from each other. Service of food/drinks must be consistent with the restaurants/bars rules, except that confirmation of vaccination or negative COVID-19 testing is encouraged but not required.
