West Maui Lost a True Hero

UWE SCHULZ, long time WMTA board member, lost his long and courageous battle with cancer on November 9, 2012. WMTA members may remember that at the 2012 WMTA Annual Meeting in January there were proclamations from the Governor and the Mayor honoring Uwe for his 40+ years of service to West Maui. Those proclamations are available on the WMTA web site (Click here). Uwe is best known for designing Whalers Village, restoring many historic buildings, and promoting a West Maui hospital. West Maui has lost a true hero.
